Workstation & DSE Assessments in Jersey
Grant Henderson is an experienced Chiropractor and Ergonomic Consultant with more than 35 years’ experience and well over 10,000 hours of clinical practice. He has carried out thousands of workstation and DSE assessments for Jersey employers – particularly in financial services, professional offices and public sector organisations – to enhance staff comfort, reduce musculoskeletal risk and support long-term productivity.
Grant also holds industry-recognised health and safety qualifications, including NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work and IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing. Alongside his consultancy work, he supplies a wide range of specialist ergonomic chairs, sit-stand desks and office ergonomic equipment to help create safer, more comfortable office and home-office workstations.
Effective workstation and DSE assessments not only improve day-to-day comfort, they also help prevent minor aches and pains progressing into long-term musculoskeletal problems — supporting reduced sickness absence, better performance and a clear return on investment in employee wellbeing.
Grant offers three levels of individual ergonomic assessment, typically carried out face to face in Jersey, with the option of virtual assessments where appropriate. As an alternative or complement, our Workplace Wellbeing Workshops provide personalised advice to your whole team, giving employees the skills to improve their own workplace wellbeing.
Level One – Workstation Check
A short visit to adjust the workstation for one person and provide practical advice on posture, desk setup and working habits. No written report.
Fee (in person – Jersey only – or virtual): £125.00
Level Two – Workstation Assessment with Report
A short visit to adjust the workstation and provide advice on posture and working habits to one person, plus a brief written ergonomic report summarising key risks and recommendations.
Fee (in person – Jersey only – or virtual): £210.00
Level Three – In-Depth Ergonomic & DSE Assessment
A structured, fully documented in-depth workstation and DSE assessment. Recommended for:
Pregnant employees
Individuals with back, neck, arm or shoulder pain
Those recovering from illness or major surgery
This includes a longer visit to and individual to document relevant medical issues, adjust the workstation, and advise on posture and working habits, followed by a detailed written report with recommendations for changes to both the workstation and working practices.
