Grant Henderson

DC MMCA FRCC PGDip Acu

Grant is an experienced McTimoney Chiropractor, and has been practising in Jersey for 35 years. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Chiropractors in 2012 and has undertaken extensive training as a Medical Acupuncturist with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, gaining a PGDip in Western Medical Acupuncture.

Jersey Chiropractor Grant uses the gentle McTimoney techinque, Dry Needling, Acupuncture, Kinesio Taping, orthotics and a variety of soft tissue techniques. He has a special interest in helping Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) and other work-related problems.

Alongside his chiropractic work Grant provides a consultancy service to a wide range of employers in Jersey. He carries out workstation assessments, delivers workshops to improve wellbeing in the workplace and provides specialist office equipment including sit stand desks and ergonomic office chairs.

Over the last 30 years Grant has performed thousands of work station assessments for employers, helping thousands of office workers. He is well known to and recommended by many of Jersey’s employers and States departments. Grant holds the industry recognised NEBOSH Health and Safety At Work and the IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing qualifications.

Grant's combined skills of chiropractic and ergonomic training alongside his thousands of hours of clinical practice and training have deepened his knowledge in both areas and place him in a unique position to offer the best specialist advice to chiropractic patients and employers in the Channel Islands.


Penny Henderson

DC MSc MMCA FRCC

Penny is an experienced McTimoney Chiropractor and Acupuncturist and more recently, a Breast-Feeding Coach. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Chiropractors upon completion of an MSc in Western Medical Acupuncture with the University of Hertfordshire after training as a Medical Acupuncturist with the British Medical Acupuncture Society.  

Penny was also awarded the prestigious bi-annual Patient Practice Quality Mark (PPQM) on behalf of Active Chiropractic by the Royal College of Chiropractors three consecutive occasions.  Active Chiropractic was the first clinic in the Channel Islands to hold this award. Penny uses a combination of the gentle McTimoney Chiropractic method, soft tissue release, Kinesio Taping, Orthotic fitting, Dry Needling and Acupuncture.

Penny holds a post graduate Diploma as a Breastfeeding Coach. Penny offers private, evidenced based breastfeeding help and encouragement, with a supportive and empowering manner to mums in the comfort and privacy of their own homes.

Penny has spent thousands of hours deepening her knowledge of the treatment of newborns, and women during pregnancy, the fourth trimester and beyond. Jersey Chiropractor Penny is known to, and recommended by, many Mums in the Island.
