Grant Henderson DC MMCA FRCC PGDip Acu
Grant has many years of experience as a McTimoney Chiropractor, and has been practising in Jersey for the last 22 years. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Chiropractors in 2012 and has undertaked extensive training as a Medical Acupuncturist with the British Medical Acupuncture Society, graining a PGDip in Western Medical Acupuncture. Jersey Chiropractor Grant uses the gentle McTimoney techinque, Dry Needling, Acupuncture, Kinesio Taping, orthotic fitting and a variety of soft tissue techniques. He has a special interest in helping Repetitive strain injuries (RSI) and other work-related problems. He heads up Active Ergonomics, providing workstation assessments, postural training and ergonomic office chairs to a wide range of private and public sector employers in the Channel Islands.
Penny Henderson DC MSc MMCA FRCC
An experienced McTimoney Chiropractor, Jersey Chiropractor Penny was recently awarded fellowship of the Royal College of Chiropractors following her training as a Medical Acupuncturist with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and her recent completion of an MSc in Western Medical Acupuncture with the University of Hertfordshire. In January 2015, Penny was awarded the prestigious Patient Practice Quality Mark (PPQM) on behalf of Active Chiropractic by the Royal College of Chiropractors for the third year running. Active Chiropractic is the only clinic in the Channel Islands to hold this award. Penny uses a combination of the gentle McTimoney Chiropractic method, soft tissue release, Kinesio Taping, Orthotic fitting, Dry Needling and Acupuncture. With a special interest in the treatment of pregnancy related back pain and Pelvic Girdle Pain, Penny is known to, and recommended by, many Mums in the Island.
Judy Dickson MCSP HCPC
Judy, an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist, has recently joined us at Active. Judy is experienced in the management of acute soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains, shoulder impingement, tennis elbow, back, neck and postural problems and many other muscle and joint conditions. Judy works with the Orthopaedic, Gynaecology and General Surgery teams at the hospital managing patients before and after surgery. She has 30 years of experience working with patients with chronic pain and long term disability. For help restoring balance and control in your core muscles after back pain or surgery, or if you would just like to start at the beginning and work safely under Physio guidance to get back on your feet, one to one assessment and guidance is what you need.
